Fostering Community and Connection
The People of African Descent Seniors Association is a community-based organization dedicated to providing senior members of the African descent community with social and cultural activities to help them connect with others and form new friendships. Our mission is to create a comfortable and inviting environment that promotes a sense of community and connectedness. With a wide range of events and activities like cultural celebrations and educational seminars, PADSA has something to offer to seniors with diverse interests.

- January 10 – No Meeting but calling or visiting an elderly person. As we begin the New Year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the importance of staying connected with our community. On January 10, instead of our usual meeting, we will make a phone call or visit with an elderly person, and we encourage everyone to do the same for an elderly person in their life.

The People of African Descent Seniors Association (PADSA) is dedicated to providing enriching experiences for seniors of African descent. Our upcoming events will feature a variety of opportunities for social, cultural, and educational exploration. Our social events will provide opportunities for members to connect with like-minded peers, while our cultural events celebrate the rich diversity and heritage of African communities. At PADSA, we believe that learning is a lifelong process and our education-focused events provide a stimulating environment to explore new subjects, to learn from experts, and to discuss with peers. Our events are carefully curated to provide a holistic and inclusive experience for all senior members of the African community. Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming schedule.
